How long have you been temping? Do you normallly always have a temp shift? It is still very possible that you O'd even if your temps didnt show it but I would think probably not likely. A positive OPK just means that you are about to O but doesnt mean that you def. will. Only temping will confirm this. However from my personal experience when I first started temping I was temping orally and my temps were crazy...there were many months I didnt O but once I started temping vaginally my temp shift was clear.

positive OPKs is not a surefire sign that you are ovulating, unfortunately. Actually, I was getting nearly positive OPKs but my chart was all over the place- and that's actually how I confirmed I was NOT ovulating.
If this keeps happening, I'd call for bloodwork just to see what's going on.

i read the instructions and faq on a few brands and i belive they all say that it detects the surge that it doesnt mean that you actually O
i believe tempin and blood work is the only way to really tell. but i could be wrong.

Re: Is it possible to O eventhough
temping is the only way to confirm ovulation by a temp increase that is sustained. once you ovulate, progesterone keeps your temps up until you have your next period, when progesterone drops.

Re: Is it possible to O eventhough
honestly, without a temp shift it is highly unlikely that you Oed. in another post you said you had 5 days of +OPKs. im not an alarmist but i really think you should go get bloodwork done. its not normal to get 5 days of +OPKs that isn't followed by ovulation. although it could just be a weird month, those are very typical PCOS symptoms. i used to get 5 days of + OPKs, my brains out, and O never followed. a week later the same thing would happen. then two weeks later I may or may not O. its very frustrating to have cycles like that since you never knew which would be the real O and which was just high LH (a typical PCOS issue that causes +OPK readings that aren't followed by ovulation).
for me, i did find that when I was really going to O i had A LOT of EWCM. if i wasnt going to O i just had +OPKs with wet or no CM.
good luck!
