i guess its time....
to formally introduce myself! i have been somewhat active on the IF boards (mostly lurking though).
DH & I are both 31 We've been TTC since Oct 2010. i was diagnosed with endo a few years ago and after a lap i was put on BCP. So far, under the care of my OB/GYN, i took clomid for 3 months but of course there was no monitoring.
Tomorrow is my first appt with a RE and i am soooo anxious and nervous. i'm going to see Dr. Brenner @ LI IVF - what should i expect at the first appt? i've heard Dr. Brenner is more on the serious side but is there anything else to expect from his personality?

I don't see that dr, but at my first appt we went over my and DH medical history, discussed our plan of action, did bw and a sono. He sent me for further bloodwork and an HSG. Good luck!

Re: i guess its time....
Dr. Brenner is my RE and you are in good hands. First appointment is a lot of questions about your medical history and TTC history. This is a chat in his office. Bring any information or medical records with you that you think might be helpful. Then he will do an examination. This is a quick gyno exam with a sonogram. He will discuss some testing that you and DH will have to go for and then what your treatment options are. Do not expect warm and fuzzy from him. He is all business. He helped me and 2 of my friends get pregnat.
