Clotting test while on lovenox...
Did anyone else have this done? We found out the other day that my blood it still too thick on 40mg of lovenox daily, so now I have to go up to 80mg/day (2-40mg shots!). My stomach is going to love that one...not to mention my piggy bank!

I was sent for this the day we found out we were losing the triplets. I was, but I still may use 2 next time after a positive beta.
 I know 2 a day stinks but I know I don't have to remind you how much it will all be worth it in the end!!! It just stinks the inject you use the most in the process has more burn and bruises than any of the others!!

I agree. When we lost our twins I don't remember this test. I'm thrilled we found out now, before transfer, but owwww! The bruising is going to be fuuuun!  I,just feel like when is enough going to be enough?!?! Kwim? Just once I want some bloodwork to come back ok after we've made changes... Grrrr... Sorry, needed to vent I guess.

i pushed for the testing before my next cycle and found out I have 1 out of 2 indicators for clotting and if I get a BFP i will have to start on this once a day as well.
I spoke to my nutritionist who said that this can also be supplemented with vitamins Omega 3 and fish oil without the effect of the lovenox. I want to check out the options before I make a choice.
needles vs pills already slant me to one side.

i went once a month to the hematologist and had it checked.
shannon i have 3 or 4 boxes of the generic 40 mg lovenox. let me when u can meet up and ill give it to you. maybe ill take a ride out to the aquarium with the boys and we can have a lunch date!

Thanks! Sorry, everything has been SO hectic for us this summer (as you know). I would love to gtg....maybe late next week after I'm home from Florida? I don't know about the 80...they seem to want me to take it every 12 hours. I would prefer the 80 obviously.... It can't hurt to ask right? We have to test again in a little over a week to make sure the level is ok after the adjustment... We'll see what that brings.

I'm on 40 2 times a day my doctor would not give me the full 80 in one shot he said it thins your blood too quickly at once its safer to do twice a day. It does suck but I just keep thinking of the prize at the end..
