Shermag glider & Ottoman

I came across an ad on craigslist selling for a really good price. I spoke with the seller and she says it' only been used for a couple of years and in Excellent condition.
I figured it couldn't hurt to check it out.

I could put a new one on my registry but, My parents and in-laws have been so nice to offer to buy my nursery furniture..i figured If this glider is good, I will just buy it for the good price.

Have any of you bought a glider used? What is your opinion? Thanks!

I've honestly been freaked out about used furniture lately because of bedbugs. I'm sure it will be fine and I'm just crazy!

I haven't bought used furniture but I do have the Shermag glider and ottoman. I got it Feb 2010 and it's still in GREAT shape so I don't doubt that the one being sold is probably in good condition also. As long as you see/inspect it first and it seems ok, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't buy it.

I sold mine on Craig's list, it was a few years old and in perfect condition, we just had no use for it. A really nice couple bought it who are struggling because the husband lost his job, so I was happy that they were able to use it!
