GD Ladies
Please give me suggestions other than eggs for breakfast. I have tried so many different cereals (cheerios, kashi, special K) and all of them shoot my sugar sky high (145). I am SO tired of eggs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, poached, boiled, over easy Anyone have any luck with something besides eggs?

Re: GD Ladies
I have the same issue with cereal. I use Chobani as my go to food. Also I do peanut butter and jelly with reduced sugar jelly. Sometimes I do sliced strawberries with nutella and almonds. Hth

traditional (not instant) oatmeal, 1 serving, with a tablespoon of peanut butter mixed in and some cinnamon.

Re: GD Ladies
I was told no dairy or fruit at breakfast, so no cereal.

Re: GD Ladies
I ate a lot of very high fiber bread or english muffins with peanut butter, a piece of cheese and milk. Also, I was told the lower your fasting #, the more carbs you can tolerate with your meal.

Re: GD Ladies
I always ate yogurt with some berries not to many but berries don't have that much sugar in them and I added some nuts in my yogurt and a 1/2 tbs of semi sweet darkchocloate and I always had good numbers. I was told no cereal and fruit for breakfast.

Re: GD Ladies
it might be the milk thats making it high. i always ate my breakfast at 7-7:30 and didnt eat cheerios with milk til 9'ish.
i used to eat whole wheat english muffins with a piece of cheese or PB or oatmeal (plain, not instant) with a splash of sugar free maple syrup
