Carpet?
Who did you use?
We'd like to do, 2 bedrooms, half a basement and stairs.

Lowes.
Price was comparable to HD, but sales person was more knowledgeable. She showed us the right types of carpets for our needs (high traffic areas, children, cats).
Empire was on our list too, but I can't remember why we stayed away from them (price or bad reviews?).

Village Carpet in West Hempstead. They were cheaper than Lowes and HD.
