Anyone taking dexamethasone or other steroid?

Uh oh.. Ok, so now I am a little concerned. So, I've been taking a very low dose (.125 mg) of dexamethasone because of elevated hormone levels for the past 15 years. Well, all of sudden, when I started trying to get pregnant 6 months ago my levels of cortisol and 17-hydroxyprogesterone went up too high. Even though I get the smiley face and all, these hormones could affect fertility. So, I upped the dosage to .25. Well, I just found out the higher dose did not even help. My cortisol and 17-OH are even higher. I really hope this isn't why I haven't gotten pregnant. Now, I have to up the dose to .5 mg. I hate it because I'm not big into meds. Anyone else have similar issues?

none at all..if anything maybe slight slight upset stomach but that could be from any of the meds i take..

someone also told me to take it not at night bc it kept them up so i take it early

Interesting, maybe I am letting my own phobias get in the way. I need to follow the doctors orders.

I took dex, no issues at all. Now I'm taking prednisone, I'm on the second week but so far so good

i take dex prescribed by my RE while i'm doing IUI cycles. no real side effects except i think it makes me sweat more. i used to take prednisone a lot for asthma and that made me sweat too.
