What happens at first RE visit?
I finally made my app't with Dr. Sung..i go in two weeks.
Just curious what happens at the first visit?
Does anyone know if i'll get a sono on the first visit? I'm asking because i want to be certain i'm not pregnant. Haven't had AF in 49 days - This past saturday i got two strong positives on Wondfo's but not on FRER's..I probably just have faulty Wondfos..but i just want to know for sure what is going on....i had bloodwork done 3 weeks ago and that was negative.

At my first visit we went over medical history of my and DH, talked about our plan to get pg and I had bw and an internal sono.

Bloodwork, sono, and.exam at least that is what I had done. I go to rsofny.

I didnt have a sono or bloodwork. It was a consult and we spoke about our history and he let us know what tests to go for. I also think getting the sono and bloodwork depends on where you are in your cycle.
I had to wait for mine to start again.

We spoke for about 45 mins and I also had some bloodwork done. I didn't have a sono yet at that point, but don't be surprised if you get one. They are internal, but not at a big deal AT ALL and you will quickly get used to them!!

It would be ideal if AF does show and you are between days 3-5, that way they can get an idea of how everything is "working" in there. I thought it was gross too, the idea of having an internal during AF, but they are so used to it that it really is no biggie.

Yes I had an u/s at both of my RE appt (saw 2 different dr.)
