Is there an easy way to find 1/2 hour radius driving distance from somewhere?

For example - I work in Sayville and would like to look for a home where the commute is no longer than 30 minutes.

I know mileage isnt all that matters. I come all the way from Shoreham and if I drive straight its just 30 minutes. Im assuming if I lived in Steauket or something and didnt have William Floyd Parkway it might take me just as long even though its closer. Do you know what I mean?

Anyone want to guess for me? Whats the furthest towns (30 minutes drive) from Sayville.

why dont you just go to google maps and under directions put town to town and it will tell you approx. how long the driving distance is. You don't have to put an exact address.

eta: it didnt save my search but just zoom out until you see LI then click on sayville and a 30 mile radius circle will pop up. HTH!

And the other issue is traffic time....I know East Northport/Commack is about 30 mins from Sayville without traffic (taking streets, not highways).

eta- just pick a town and your destination, and then mapquest to see times listed

I live in in Lindenhurst, and it is about 20-25 minutes to Sayville, if I go straight on Sunrise.

Thanks! WOW. I thought Lindenhurst would be more. Traffic on Sunrise doesnt seem that great by Connetquot? Oakdale?

We're in West Bab and have family in Sayville so I do the drive all the time. It's about 25-30 min depending on how close you are to the highway and traffic.

Edited to add:
I used to work in Hauppauge when I lived in Sayville. That's about 30 min too, it can be less but not if you hit the lights.

as of right now there is no way to search that way

but my company has the technology to allow you to search that way for homes- we are about to roll it out- I will let everyone know when we do

you will also be able to search for other lifestyle - example- Pet friendly area, Locations to shopping, beach etc

I am so excited for this new website- our regional is coming tomorrow and I hope this is the news he is bringing for us!!!!
