3 hour glucose
any one just fail one of the hours and does your doctor will want you to go to diabetic counseling?

i took the 2 hour glucose tolerance test. Passed first hour, failed 2nd hour.
I definitely have GD.
They explained it like this - during the first hour I processed the sugar fine, but in the second hour my body stopped processing it essentially. My 2hr number was only 4pts less than my 1hr number.

I was told with the 3 hour, there are 4 blood draws and you are allowed to fail one. Maybe they just want you to modify your diet, not test your sugars.
