Baby shower location??
Can you recommend a place for my mom to have my baby shower? In Nassau County? Im from LI but live in Ohio and my mom is having a small one for me back home, and she needs help with places. Also, what do you htink is a reasonable price for a sit down lunch?

Umberto's in New Hyde Park.
my mom booked my shower there and they were great to work with. I don't know how much it was but I know it was reasonable and you got a lot in the package. When she called to cancel bc I am in the hospital she wasn't expecting them to give her money back...she just wanted to cancel and not have to pay the remainder of the balance. The guy was so nice and offered to send back her "non-refundable" deposit. I would definitely recommend them!

I bumped the "official" thread.
For a sit down luncheon, the price really can vary. You will probably be looking at anywhere from $22-35 per person, plus tax & tip. Some places will include beer/wine/champagne punch and some won't.
It's likely best you start with a price range that you won't want to go over and keep that in mind when looking.
