How do you agree on a name????
We are having such a hard time agreeing on a name!! I have my top and he has his top..neither matches and neither of us loves the others suggestions enough to settle on a name. Ugh...this is so hard!!!! Did anyone else have this hard of a time?? How do you pick one??

i feel your pain! I have suggested so many names, but DH hates all of them. And he has suggested -maybe- one. For DS, we didn't agree on a single boy's name until like 37 wks. That was the only one we agreed on!
I am hoping the same thing will happen (that before we deliver, we will magically come up with a name we both like).

We were able to agree on a girls name. I pretty much made a list and read them off to him. He told me which he liked and didn't. As for a boy, we are having a bit more trouble, which is why I'm sure we'll have a boy! LOL

For our boys name I had a favorite (Logan) and he had a favorite (Connor). I ended up splitting the difference and saying he could have the boy name if I could have the girl name. We're having a boy. The name that he liked the best has really grown on me. Now I can't imagine our little boy being anything other than Connor.

we had a hard time. we had a few names we liked before getting pregnant but then starting changing our minds. I would list like hundreds of names and DH would say no to everything! He was driving me nuts!!! Everytime there was a name he was so so about i added it to a short list....and from there we finally agreed on names. It took awhile but we finally agreed!

With DD#1- we had a couple of names but after watching me give birth he said I could name her whatever I wanted
This time- he gets to pick and he already knows what he wants for boy AND girl.

We have two top names. Each of us prefers one and then we switch bw the two We decided to make a game day decision.

we have the same problem with boy names - everything he loves I hate and everything I love he hates. We will be finding out tomorrow if it is a  or  and then take it from there. We already have a girl name we both love and agree on.

Crashing - with DS we were team Green and agreed on top couple of girl names. Boy names were hard and we didn't agree.
We had a boy under scary circumstances (severe pre eclampsia, emergency c section) and as soon as he was out and the doctor said it's a boy, I said "I know his name" Although we didn't officially give him that name until he was 5 days old, once we saw him, we both agreed that it was the best fit for him.

I let him have the first name if baby was a boy (I had a middle name picked out already) and he let me have the name if baby was a girl.
Baby is . he wins but I like his name.
Next child girl or boy, I get to pick

I've been joking around telling DH since he gets the last name, it's only fair that I get the 1st name.. 
We are most likely going with a classic/old fashioned name.. we seem to be on the same page for the most part. But we haven't settled on anything yet. I guess we should with only 6 weeks left!

Same here. And we're not even close on any names. I pretty much hate what he likes and vice versa. I bought a huge baby name book and I figure when we find the right name we will know and we will finally agree.

We were working with specific letters because we are naming the baby after family members that have passed. I suggested many names to my dh but he vetoed them because according to him they sounded like stripper names (hes crazy)! Finally I suggested a name and he approved it was challenging
