Will an RE even see me?
My ob thinks my RE (who I used to to conceive dd) might not see me. So I had dd 8/17/10 went on bc in Nov and came off in Jan and than didn't get a period until March 30. I found out May 29 I was pregnant and June 10 I had a miscarriage. Now I still haven't ovulated and its August 3. I was diagnosed with pcos at 15 but obviously at some point I ovulated and got pg on my own. I'm 28 and my ob thinks that my re will say I need to try for one year. How can I even try if I'm not getting a period? I didn't even think about an re turning me away. Another issue is that dh new insurance which kicks in oct 1 will not have fertility coverage and we still have it now. I'm so upset over this.

Re: Will an RE even see me?
If you have a history of PCOS and havent had AF, there is an issue and a RE will see you. It can't hurt. They might not be as aggressive with treatments but they can get you back on a cycle and monitor you.

Re: Will an RE even see me?
If you were under the care of an RE to conceive DD, then you have a history with the doctor, and he/she should take you in, no questions asked. GL!

Re: Will an RE even see me?
I would go see your RE, what is the worst they can tell you: they can't help you now. If they can help you then you are one step closer....good luck!

Don't listen to your OB. Make an appointment with your RE.

Re: Will an RE even see me?
I had IVF to conceive my DS over 2 years ago and since then I had one failed FET and one failed fresh and then out of the blue got pregnant on my own and ran to my RE he took care of me and was about to discharge me to my ob when I had a fetal demise. Right now i'm on a break but he said if I get a BFP to call him. So definitely call him no need to waste your time with your gyn especially if our insurance will run out!
