OK a two part question for when we all get our BFPs and have beautiful LO's-
Do you think you'll give BFing a try? Do you think that you will make your own baby food?

I have to be honest I am a little freaked out about B/F I know what a baby I am when AF comes and my Nips are sore, I hear it hurts a lot!  I definitely would like to try. As far as baby food I think I will definitely do this, as well as we are using cloth diapers.

1. When I was pg with DD I always thought I would FF and never considered BFing until one day when I said something about FFing and DH was like, "WHAT? You're not BFing?!?!?!" I guess I never even considered it a topic of discussion...who knew that DH felt so strongly about BFing???
So I agreed to give it a try and I had a very difficult time. DD was soooo sleepy and I could not wake her up to eat. I had to strip her down and wipe her with a cold washcloth but she would not wake up! I kept at it for about 6 weeks and DD was just losing tons and tons of weight. DD was very thin and gray and I was advised to switch to at least 1/2 FF so we made the decision to just switch to FF altogether.
For me, I hated every single second of BFing BUT I think that I will still try it again if we are lucky enough to have a DC #2.
2. Ideally I would have loved to make DD's baby food but I have no patience for this kind of stuff. I'm not a pre-planner in that respect although I really wish that I had that trait!

Im gonna give BF a try, it all depends on how our future LO likes it. If they are having a hard time, I'm going to pump
as for making my own baby food, I may try it but I don't seeing it being a regular thing as it's very time consuming. But I'll try anything once

BF wasn't for me..tried it with DS. But I did pump for a little while.
I don't think i'll be making my own baby food either..

I  I can BF. It is very important to me to do this. I am def going to give making baby food a try. If things work out the way DH and discussed I will be able to be a SAHM for a bit so I will def have the time to give it my best shot.

i am so on the fence with this and need to do research..i have 8 neices n nephews none were breastfed and none ate homemade food and they r all ok...but i have dfriends that swear by it

I have no interest in BFing, but apparently DH feels very strongly about it and wants me to try. I'm not sure that I really wan to.
As far as baby food, I really enjoy cooking, so I might try it. Maybe for some things, I wouldn't do it for everything the LO ate.

I have no desire to BF, maybe because my mom did not BF. I may, however, try it. I really feel like the bottle is a positive as it allows the husband to help out with night feedings.
I think I would be more apt to make my own baby food, as I love preparing food.
Making your own baby food always makes me think of that 1980s movie "Baby Boom" with Diane Keaton.
