new here

hey ladies,

i'm new to this board. i have a 11 m son and DH and I decided that now is a good time to start trying for a second one. the first one was pure luck as we got pregnant on the first try. (technically we weren't trying, we just wanted to see if we'd "fit" but that was enough)

we're hoping for the same outcome this time around since we don't have a large window. i'm going back to schoo next month, so ideally we need the baby to be born in either late may or in june so he/she is old enough to travel daily when i have to pick up DH form work on my way to class.

i know i should never try to plan a baby around my schedule, but we have no choice.

any advice on what i can do to help me conceive? any "magical" things that would work quickly?

also, i have been trying to get back into shape since Ds was born. i'm eating more veggies and fruits, less fats and carbs. i'm also going to start jogging each morning tomorrow.

is there any foods i should avoid?
any foods i should have lots of?
will vigorous exercise impact negatively our TTC?

will running and the movement negate our tries? (i know how silly that sounds, but i can't see any developing fetus liking being shaken like that daily Chat Icon )

thanks ladies and hoping to get lots of help from you!

good luck to all of us!

Re: new here

welcome and i hope this time around is quick for you!

i started on an OTC prenatal pill, i have always tried my best to eat right and stay fit, i dont change anything much about my workout routine while TTC.

tracking your cycles and having lots of Chat Icon around ovulation day is the most important!
