Injections- Is it covered?
Hi Ladies! I am waiting for my RE to call me today with the results of my preg test. I was brave and didn't test on my own. I did a Clomid/IUI cycle but only had 1 follicle that was fairly large. If negative which I'm sure it will be, we are going to injections next month. Just wondering if this is covered by your insurance because if not I have heard it's very expensive? Thanks! :)

Re: Injections- Is it covered?
you will have to check with your insurance plan. Some cover it some don't. I have a lifetime make for mine.

Definitely true. I had a lifetime max of $3,500 for fertlity meds. Only covered a cycle and a half for me.
Check with your plan about coverage, maximums and if you need to go through their own specialty pharmacy.
Good luck! Hopefully you won't even need this information!

Re: Injections- Is it covered?
As the previous ladies said, it really varies by ins. Mine happens to cover any IF related meds up to $15,000 lifetime max/person as a seperate benefit from my actual IF benefit
