Cold Dip
I'm going to a birthday party tonight and a going away party tomorrow, so I'd like to make a big batch of dip, divide it up and bring half to each party.
I need something that can be served cold though. Any recipes anyone could share? TIA!

Re: Cold Dip
my friend makes a bean dip with chickepeas, black beans, chopped red onion, corn, chopped tomatoes and italian dressing... its delish!
or maybe a cold spinach dip... I think Knorr has a recipe on the back of the packet for their veggie dip!

Re: Cold Dip
I loooove olive dip! It's just spanish olives with pimentos, drained, chopped fine in a food processor and then mixed with mayo and black pepper. Perfect with pita chips

Re: Cold Dip
Spinach dip...buy Knorr veg soup/dip mix, read ingredients and it's easy to make. Stores great too.

Re: Cold Dip
Avocado/Corn Dip
Combine the following: 1 can corn, rinsed and drained 1 can black beans rinsed and drained 1 jar salsa (I prefer Tostito medium) Chopped cilantro 2 avocados, chopped (recipe calls for 1, but I always add 2) the juice of half a lime optional: finely chopped red onion, to taste
Serve with Tostitos (the Scoops are handy since it's a chunky dip)

Re: Cold Dip
Easiest one I know.... one package softened cream cheese, one jar salsa. Mix thoroughly and serve with tostitos. So yummy. You can easily double or triple the recipe.
