getting rid of polyurethane odor
i noticed that with the high heat and humidity, the polyurethane has been giving off some really strong odors but the floors were done back in march. the contractors did use 3 coats of oil based poly though. has anyone had any success in getting rid of the smells or had such smells come out of their newly poly floors?

Re: getting rid of polyurethane odor
I think that may be normal, but should go away.
I had my home painted in Nov, but when it started getting hot you could smell paint fumes again. Since running the CAC, dont smell it anymore so much. Not sure if its gone or only when the rooms get hot (which they dont anymore since we always keep on the CAC).
