false negative?

so i am 4 days late with no sign of af...im never late and ive never missed a month...tested yesterday twice...both negative...is it possible that i tested too soon to know for sure?

also, im getting married in 6.5 weeks!! so if it turns out that im 8 weeks at the wedding, will i be showing, sick etc? should i be terribly worried here?

Re: false negative?

AF is always consistent for me. 27 or 28 days max. This last cycle was almost 34 days! I got negative tests the whole time. If you have been under a lot of stress that can throw your cycle off. Hang in there! I am sure everything is going to be fine. Were you ttc?

Re: false negative?

ok #1) your period could be late just from the stress of your wedding coming up, #2) if you are in fact pregnant and will be 8 weeks at the wedding don't stress I wouldn't worry, I really doubt you'd be showing! To play it safe if you get a BFP just contact your seamstress in case your wedding dress would need last minute alterations. My best friend was 12 weeks pregnant at her wedding and she actually LOST weight and had her dress taken in (probably b/c of stress and the fact she was sick all the time when she was pregnant). Good luck and try not to stress too much!! (easier said than done I know!)

Re: false negative?

I would think it might be the stress of wedding planning that is making you late.....happens all the time.

If you are 4 days late and you generally know when you O then I would say you probably arent PG and just late due to stress.

And at 8 weeks you will not be showing......maybe just bloated.

Re: false negative?

if u r 4 days past af ifs def not too early to test..so so many things can throw a cycle off for a couple of days, esp if u r planning a wedding
