Delivery Room Pictures?
Who usually takes pictures in the delivery room? Do you invite a familiy member in and give them the camera, or do you ask a nurse (if you can find one who isn't busy with your baby!). Maybe a stupid question..haha...but I don't know the answer!

My husband took a bunch and the nurses asked always offered to take "family" shots both times.

We got super lucky with #1 that our friend WAS the nurse, so she offered to take the pics. With #2, DH took a few and then the nurse offered to take a few pics too. It's a memory you want to capture!

I wound up in the c/s room but a nurse offered to take a family pic and a few of the baby for us.

With DS1 there was a nurse who took a ton of pics for us.
DS2 DH took the majority of them so he's not in that many - but enough to get that he was there

my husband took all the pics when the nurses were cleaning the baby and weighing her. then when our family came in that were in the waiting room EVERYONE was taking pictures so we got some good shots and our first family picture.

DH. With our first, the nurse took a family shot. We didn't get one with out second, but didn't think to ask either. However, we were much more relaxed with the second, so DH was basically a full on photographer instead of partner/coach. I didn't need it the second time. He actually filmed the whole birth the second time and you hear us laughing and talking, and you hear the click of the other camera for the still shots.

I was thinking of having a news crew in there with us since this is a big event for us!  We tend to go big on everything we do this should be ok right?
Friends of our had a baby recently and both moms were in there with them. Her mom took TONS of pictures. I mean of EVERYTHING!!!!!!!! Crowning, when she first came out, EVERYTHING!!!! Even took pictures of her BF for the first time. Awkward right??
I think, if he doesnt pass out, DH will take some pics. If not then I hope a nurse will.

The only one allowed in that room withe me was my DH and the Drs/nurses so he took them.
And I banned him from taking any of me- I looked like chit and didn't want any reminders of that.

c section both times and first time the anesthesiologist took them, the second time the a nurse took them. They both offered to and we took them up on it.
