Yay or Nay?

Will you or have you used some type of head/body support for your LO in the infant seat. I have heard both pros and cons to these and just wondered what you ladies thought.

Re: Yay or Nay?

I will not. I have read that they arent as safe nor are they crash tested with the car seats.

I have the Chicco Keyfit which comes with plenty of support for baby and has been tested.

This. I do want to get the Boppy noggin but more for swings, bouncer or rock n play to protect against a flat head, not for the car seat.

I agree. My brother is a figherfighter (who does the carseat inspections) and they say you shouldn't add ANYTHING additional to the car seat. Can be dangerous...

I never used anything with DD, so probably won't this time either.

Same here. I will not use anything in the car seat except what it comes with because it's not safe, but I want it for everything else!

I have the Chicco too..will you guys be using the bundle me with it ? I just opened mine and I really do NOT like it at all. It seems to compromise the straps and safety. I just read up on everything you are NOT suppose to use with a car seat, i had no idea !!! Thank you ladies!

Re: Yay or Nay?

i got the graco safeseat (snugride 30) and it came with accessories for both of those uses. the head piece is great, but i havent used the snuggle part and it looks pretty flimsy and prob wouldnt keep any child warm. luckily i have time to find something for the winter for that.

here is her in it when we came home from the hospital but she was a preemie so she didnt fill out the head part yet. she does now at 9w!

Re: Yay or Nay?

I dont really plan to use a bundle me but I live in a more moderate region (VA).

My sister has a 3 week old and loves her Chicco. She doesn't seem to have any problems with the straps and inserts. I havent put mine together yet so Im not sure.
