Sugarless Gum
Has Asparteme - is it ok to have? I just realized it and I have like 2 or 3 pieces a day! I'm figuring a small amount but figured I'd ask anyway.

good question. Asparteme is supposed to be a big no no so i would think that your no supposed to be - but how much could be in a tiny little thing of gum

I was on a search for gum without, they all have something in it...I chewed it, it helped somewhat with MS

I chewed sugarless gum when I was pregnant - DD was born 6 weeks ago perfectly healthy. I think its such a tiny amount in chewing gum that youll be fine. just dont go chewing like 5 packs a day or anything

I gave up all nutrisweet/aspartimane while I was preggo. I wasn't willing to take a chance.

I found some without it though and chew that! there is prob hardly any in a piece though.

I chew it...honestly never thought about it. BUT I don't drink/eat anything else diet/sugarfree so I guess it's ok.

I know! I was just at 7-11 and I quickly scanned the gum. None without. My dr. didn't say anything, so I'll just try to limit it to 1 piece a day.

Considering it's like the 10th thing listed in the ingredients (on the gum I chew anyway), it's probably a REALLY minimal amount. Ingredients are usually listed by the largest amount to the smallest. I never even thought of aspertame being in it until this post though!
