When to test after 5dt?
I know this has probably been discussed a million times ... but now it's actually MY turn to think about this! 
When is a reasonable time to test? Tomorrow is 4dp5dt - which, logically, I know, is too soon to test. But I WANT to!  Is the HCG trigger even out of my system yet? (it was a week ago, Saturday)
Seriously, this week is draaaaagggggging! I just want to know if this worked already. I can't even think of anything new to Google!

I would wait till 6dp5dt at the earliest. That would be the equivalence of 11dpo. I tested at 8dp3dt with my last cycle (also like 11dpo) and my lines started out VERY light. I am convinced I would not have seen a line had I tested any earlier!! (The pics are still in my album)
p.s.- my evening tests were always darker  FMU is a crock!

You're totally right. NO earlier than 6dp5dt. I am totally the OPPOSITE of a POAS addict - in fact, in my 2+ years of TTC, I've probably done maaaaaybe 5 HPTs (and I swear that's probably a stretch).
This particular "wait" is just killing me.

I did the same tested 6dp5dt and got a very faint positive (pics are in my album as well).

You know me
I would start at 4dp5dt. If you get a BFN, AWESOME then you know your trigger is out.
If I didn't see anything by 7dp5dt, I'd start to get upset.
Those are my general guidelines.
I also agree with Pennycat about not using FMU!

You are a bad influence! I tested today (4dp5dt) and got a negative - so YAY, I know the trigger is out of my system!

I got a very faint BFP 7 dp 5dt. On day 8 it was crystal clear. GL!

You just add up the numbers - so it's equal to 10dpo. I'm not discouraged yet!!
If I don't see a BFP by Sunday, then I'll be fully upset! (can't figure out what emoticon goes w/ that statement )
