I just did ER for IVF #1 (DH has sperm issues). I am 40 and we conceived DS naturally in 2009. Anyway, we had to do 3 iui's for ins. purposes and when I was on clomid 150 mg , produced 5 follicles. Yesterday - day before retrieval I had 5 mature follicles and one or two smaller ones they could not officially count. What? I thought the IVF meds were more intense? I was on Gonal -F - 300 then switched up to 450 medstream, Menopaur 75 IU twards the ned and Ganirelix. The Dr's goal was 10-12 eggs. Now I'm afaid my FSH of 6 means nothing and AMH of .34 might mean something. This does not determine my quality right? Do you think they could change my meds to produce more follies/eggs if I need to to this again?
