Munire Furniture
Is anyone ordering the Munire Newport collection? We put a deposit down (with less than 6 weeks to go till baby) for the 3 pieces: crib, 5 drawer chest and 6 drawer changer/dresser in Cherry. The room can hold all 3 pieces but we're worried it'll be tight since the dressers will take up one wall and the crib most of the other but there is a lot of room in the middle. The baby will also have a full wall of closet space. Also is it crazy to spend over $2k on baby furniture? The grandparents are splitting the bill but I'm feeling guilty.

Re: Munire Furniture
We ordered the same set in espresso. We got the crib, dresser with hutch, the chest and one nightstand. My mother bought the crib and paid for my shower and my inlaws paid for the rest of the furniture. We hope the furniture will last for a long time so I don't think it's crazy if you plan to make it last.

Do you have any photos of the furniture set up in the room? I would love to see it.

Re: Munire Furniture
We got Munire furniture for DS and he is 16 months old and IMO well worth the money. We will more than likely get Munire for DD as well. Here are some pics from when we were setting up his nursery before he was born so it is a mess still. He is in bed now so I can't take current pics.
Tall Dresser
Short dresser which we use as changing table.

Re: Munire Furniture
I don't think it's ridiculous to spend that much if the furniture is built to last. We have a the Munire Majestic set for DS and it has been holding up well for the last 22m!
We got the Munire Newport set for this baby.

Re: Munire Furniture
My DD, who is 5, has that exact set(same color and all) and it's held up beautifully. She has the dresser, convertible crib and armoire. We added different hardware to dress it up a bit for her. My DS has the chest of drawers in his room. Not one single issue and like I said we have it 5 years now. It's worth the money!

same crib used for my DS's room
