shellac layering for new colors

anyone do anything creative with the colors?

I was complaining that I'm so bored with the same colors, so my nail tech recommended I go online and see what people are doing with layering colors, and come back with what I want done.

see this

Do you mix it up? What combos do you do?

see this flickr gallery of layered colors

I just got this today at a salon near my mom's that I don't go to regularly. I forgot to ask how this comes off! Chat Icon Do you soak it off or do they soak/file it off?
