What now?
My dr said that we should see her after 6 months of trying if we can't get pregnant.
What are the next steps? What do they do first?
I'm afraid if I ask when I'm at the appt. I am going to start crying - I would just rather know now what I'm in for.

I'm afraid if I ask when I'm at the appt. I am going to start crying - I would just rather know now what I'm in for.
I was diagnosed with PCOS and my doctor said she would first put me on birth control pills to regulate my period for a few months then I would try and get pregnant right away when I am off them. If that didn't work then some type of fertility drug.
I just started trying so I don't know what if any problems we will have but I do have irregular periods so it is hard to tell when I am ovulating.
Did she say why you would have difficulties?

Most likely, she will either do some tests herself or refer you to an RE. You will get bw done, DH may be sent for a semen analysis and you may be sent for a test to check and see if you tubes are open and not blocked.

this..it is scary i know to have to have this done but if there is a issue always better to know before
