Cookbook recommendation

I have a ton of cookbooks, but when I look through them they seem so complicated. I'm looking for some cookbooks that have some simple recipes with not too many ingredients or anything that I wouldn't normally buy at the supermarket.

Right now I have the Soprano's family cookbook on my list because my aunt said that a lot of the recipes were similar to my grandmother's.

Also thinking of maybe Theresa Giudice's new cookbook.

Any recommendations? Thanks!!

All of The Barefoot Contessa cookbooks are very good.

I just bought Cooking Light Comfort Foods and everything in it seems pretty easy.

My very best basic cookbook, however, is the Betty Crocker Bridal Edition which has all you need to know.

I love Sandra Lee's Semi-Homemade books- I have 4 of them

The Better Homes and Gardens cookbook - the red and white checkered one - hands down the best. The Rachel Ray ones are good for quick meals and also Barefoot Contessa.

You can try to check some out from the library before you buy so you can see if they will be worth the purchase.

Barefoot Contessa's How Easy is That...super easy recipes and so delicious. I also like the Williams Sonoma Cookbook.

Park Avenue Pot Luck - very simple casseroles and meals - great if you entertain.

Silver Spoon - It is a big cookbook translated from italian to english. Some of the recipes are crazy but there are a ton that are very simple.

Eva Longorias new cookbook has a lot of very simple recipes in it. And everything seems to use fresh ingrediants and lots of healthy options.
