I heard this on the radio this morning. What is even more frightening is that its only setting the record in TEXAS. So there are BIGGER babies elsewhere!

I don't understand how they could let this happen. DS#2 was measuring 10-8 at 37 weeks and they said it was too dangerous to let him get to 12 pounds (at the rate he was going)
PLUS, she had GD, so they should have been more observant of her and the baby's size!

This was my thought as well. Shame on her doctors for letting the baby get that big. I think its terrible and there could have been horrible consequences.
