Bathroom Fixture Help

Do the fixtures in the shower have to match the sink? I like brushed nickel but the shower kit is $600 more in brushed nickel than in chrome.

Would it be a big deal to have chrome in shower and brushed nickel on the vanity, toilet paper holder, etc.?

Because of the set up I dont even think you would see the shower fixtures when standing outside the shower. There will be a glass shower door but a single door that opens on the opposite end (not the end with the fixtures).

They should match, would you consider doing all chrome?

I would have them match, but I like to match everything in the house. For instance all of the hardware we have in rooms that have been redone is oil rubbed bronze, and that goes for sinks, showers, door handles etc...

But everyone is different....

Personally, I would want them to match. Why not check out Lowes? There are plenty of brushed nickel options for well under $600.

IMO, all fixture finishes should match. No need to spend $600.

I was just in the same situation. We re-did our bathroom, and wanted brushed nickel for all fixtures. For the shower head and shower fixtures, it was an extra $800 for brushed nickel!

We decided to go with all chrome, and so far it looks really nice.

This is the faucet we picked, and I love it!
