Can I make cupcake frosting the night before
and frost the cupcakes the morning of the party? If so, does it need to be room temp? Can you tell I've never done this before

yes. I usually put it in the fridge and the next day frost.

yes. I usually put it in the fridge and the next day frost.
ditto. I just made frosting last weekend, put it in the fridge and then took it back out the next day and let it sit at room temperature.
