bathroom storage - UPDATE

i love this bathroom cabinet from pottery barn, but DH is not crazy about the $400 price tag. has anyone seen something similar for cheaper? i've searched a few sites online and cant find anything i like as much as this one.


UPDATE: well we found one at home goods for only $100! dh was very pleased to say the least... and no assembly required lol.

Check out the pottery barn outlet in riverhead. A few years ago I saw an $800 coffee table in the store that I loved. I went to the outlet and saw the same table for more than half off because there was a tiny chip in it. The design is meant to look like a slightly beat up trunk so with some matching stain dh was able to fix it.

also rememebr the hardware is a pretty inexpensive change so if that is what you like - buy something similar and then buy similar hardware

also if you open a registry you can save 10%

also i have found i get coupons from pottery barn when i leave things in my shopping cart for a long time - thatis usally when i get the 20% of coupons

I would search at a local thrift store or on CL.. you could find something similar and repaint and get new hardware for a fraction of the cost!

thanks everyone. we're gonna check out home goods today cause i remember seeing some bathroom storage units there awhile ago.
