I'm new!
Hi Everyone,
DH and I decided yesterday that we would start TTC. I took my last BC pill yesterday.
What do I do now? Do I need to go see my doctor? I was just there two weeks ago for a routine visit.
I'm a little worried because my periods weren't regular as a teenager so i have been on the pill since I'm 18.
Any advice or suggestions would be fabulous!

I would start taking prenatals. Call your OB and ask for sample pre-natals and start taking them to figure out what one you like. I know alot of girls buy them at the store, but I never did that so I'm not sure what brand is good.
My periods are irregular to, so I would buy a Ovulation predictor kit. I suggest the clear blue easy smiley face one. No way of screwing it up. That will help you figure out exaclty when your ovulating. I don't OV till around day 19-21. Not the normal day 14 for a majority of girls.
It might take a while for your body to regulate after stopping BC.
You don't need to see a doctor. Just make sure all your vaccinations are up to date.
Also, I would suggest DH take a multi vitamin as well.

Def. start taking prenatals. You may want to call your Dr. to see if he/she recommends a specific one but I just take over the counter ones. I would just see how your periods are after going off BC. It may take your body a few months to regulate. Gl and lots of baby dust!

Good luck to you and welcome! My dr advised to start taking prenatals but that was really it. See how your cycle goes now that you are stopping the pill.

First Welcome to the board!!!!! Welcome to wonderful world of TTC! All the fun in trying!!! I would start some Pre-natals ASAP! Because you just took your last bcp it may take 3 months for your cycles to regulate and get back on track! Make sure you buy some OPK's so you know when you ovualte!! My advice..get the digitals with smileys!!!!!
