Another refrigerator or just a freezer??
I never have enough room for the stuff in my freezer. Would you buy just a freezer OR buy a refrigerator/freezer combo? Any recommendations???

In addition to my kitchen fridge and wine fridge, I have a 3 foot freezer and 2 extra fridges in the garage lol

We have an extra fridge/freezer in our garage and use both parts equally. It's great when we have BBQs or parties. I would do both.

I have a fridge in my kitchen and then a chest freezer in my basement that my parents bought us.
So far I love having it and it's all that I need. I haven't needed extra fridge space or wished that I had it.

we had 2 refrigerators in the garage, then one went and we got a big freezer but that didnt last too long, so we sold the freezer and bought anew refrigerator.
We need refrigerator space for BBQ rather than freezer space

For those of you who have it in the garage - do you find that it works extra hard to compensate for the heat of the garage? I am dying to get a second freezer, but our garage gets so hot!

We have an extra fridge in the basement, I don't need an extra freezer.
We put stuff for a party, beer, wine, etc. in teh fridge.

I have our freezer in our very hot garage. I can't say I notice anything odd about how it works. I don't think that matters, the cooling goes on inside and it is insulated, kwim?

i have an extra freezer in the basement and i love it! There are times that i do wish i had the extra fridge, but that is just when i throw parties, so it is not worth it for me

We have an extra refrigerator in the basement and another in the garage. The one in the garage is a lifesaver when we bbq. The one in the basement is great for extra storage

I lived in Texas and it never made a difference.. still stayed cold as anything..

We have another fridge/freezer in our garage. It's been a lifesaver for parties & things. Also great to store beer.

I agree - We have an extra refrigerator/freezer in our attached garage, and I use the refrigerator part a LOT for entertaining. So I am glad I have it!
Plus, I use the garage refrigerator to keep "extras" of items we go through a lot (milk, yogurt) and items that we don't use every day (like special sauces and condiments). I try to keep my kitchen fridge stocked with items that we need on a daily basis and use all the time.
