at what point should I call the Dr

Hi Ladies,

A little background on me: got pregnant on the first try, had a miscarriage, then proceeded to TTC for 7 months before getting pregnant with DD. My doctor had tested my progesterone level and it was really low and I also had a short luteal phase (9 days or so). So, she prescribed clomid and I got pregnant with the next cycle.

Now we're going on cycle 4 for TTC DC#2. I have no idea about my progesterone level, but I am noticing the same pattern with my luteal phase (about 8 or 9 days).

So my question is...Should I wait to call the doctor or call now even though its only been a few months? I dont have my annual until January...

Thanks...

I would go now as your doctor is aware of the problems you had previously.

ITA! I would call right away since you're already aware of issues you've had in the past.

Re: at what point should I call the Dr

My doctor FINALLY called me back (after two whole days!!!)

She says that it sounds like i'm headed back down the same path. She's going to review my file and consult with one of the other doctors and get back to me...looks like clomid again!

I'm excited, but scared of multiples. LOL I really just hope that I dont get too disappointed if it doesnt work right away. Last time I only had to do one round before I get my BFP, and I half expect that'll be the case again. I know it's not, but i'm thinking its setting me up for disappointment!

wish me luck!
