Carpet Cost?
We went to Village Carpet in West Hempstead and were quoted $23/sq. ft. for nylon carpet (the real plushy kind) plus $150 for installation and the padding that goes under the carpet. Does this sound reasonable?

square foot or square yard?
We were quoted $38 / square yard and $44/ sq yd which I have been told is moderately priced. Anything over $50 per square yard is expensive.
