Seeing an NP
I made an appointment for next week to what I thought was an RE. They told me I would see the NP and wouldn't see an RE until I concieved. Anyone else experience this or is it just at this practice?? Not sure if I should just look into another practice. I got the recommendation from this site for Dr. Shaffran and tried to make an appt with her but couldn't.

I would want to see the RE to go over everything and get a plan. I saw the RE for my consult to go over everything and get my plan going. I had an IUI and the NP did that procedure, but once I was PG, the RE was the one who saw me each time til I was realsed to my OB. If I am not PG this month, I will be seeing him again in July.

you should see the RE for consultant and to decide on a protocol. monitoring appt I would be fine with a NP but not the initial protocol appts.

Dr Braverman is really popular on these boards but he's in Nassau. Also, he will no longer accept incurance after June 28 (you need out of network coverage or pay OOP)

lol it's totally fine..
I don't see an RE but a lot of girls here go through Good Sam hospital, Southside Hospital...my good friend had her twins in Southampton because lives in Wading River and loved it.

yeah an np can moniter you but you MUST be evaluated first by the re!!!!
eastern suffolk i dont know but if you cant see dr braverman in woodbury i have heard ok things about dr stelling near good sam!

I see Dr. Zapantis at East Coast Fertility. I go to the Plainview office, but they also have offices in West Islip and East Patchogue.
