Sad and mentally exhausted

So what i believe to have been implantation bleeding is now over.
Yesterday afternoon i definitely had a second faint line on FRER.
Last night i tried one of my generic wondfos and it came back negative.
This morning i took another FRER and it came back negative. (I did get up to pee at about 1am..and then tested around 5am..so not sure if that makes a difference.)

Anyway, now i'm thinking this is a chemical.

Anyone have any knowledge on this?

Just confused because i thought false positives were very rare on a FRER. That's why i splurged on them.

This whole process is taking years off my life. Plus i have one of the worst colds ever, which is not helping my mood.

I'm sorry Maybe you should wait a few days and see if AF shows or test again??? Hope you feel better

Ugh, this kind of happened to me in Jan. I couldn't' really place when AF was due b/c I O'd really late that month, so I couldn't tell if it was going to be a normal 28 day cycle, or if my LP would increase due to my O date.

anyway, I had what felt like PG symptoms, and I tested and kept getting VERY FAINT positives - on FRER and a cheapie non digi. I tested 2-3x over a 5-7 period. Anyway, I went out and bought a digi to put the faint line drama to rest, and it was BFN. A couple of days later, I got AF, and so when I mentioned this to my OB last weekend, she said that was a chemical.

How many DPO are you?
Is AF late yet?
It could be just too early to test, and that is why these tests are not consistent.

AF is due Wed. or Thursday.
I have one more test left, so i'll try testing again later.

For now i am going to try to remain positive.

At this point i'm ok if i'm not preggo, I just need to know one way or the other..and i really pray i'm not having a chemical.

There really are no false positives unless you are going through fertility treatments and you have hormones in your body from medication you are taking.

I am so sorry you are going through this, but I would guess if you don't get another strong positive that it is a chemical.

Your definately not out until af shows up. Wait until later in the week to test. Try not to get your self to crazy although i know how hard it is to remain calm while ttc..I hope your not out and you get your bfp

I hope it's not a chemical pregnancy!! How many Dpo are you? Maybe it's too early to test! It aint over till AF shows her ugly face!!!

thanks everyone...AF showed. I still can't believe I got a false positive on a FRER. I got so excited just to be let down. Now i'm starting to understand why some don't test until AF is late.
My "implantation" was just my period starting. I feel numb, drained and very depressed from this process and this was just the first month trying. On to month 2.
Think i need a drink tonight.

I'm really sorry. I know how you feel and i'ts so mentally exhausting. I feel like after my miscarriage I have become obsessed with pregnancy and I never wanted it to be like that

Doesn't sound like a false positive, sounds like a BFP that just didn't take and ended in a chemical. I had a similar experience. Had faint, faint positives for 2 days, then started spotting, got BFN's and then AF came full force. So sorry, I know it sucks!
