Test results
I got my progesterone results from my doctor today and he said I did not ovulate. I got the blood test on CD 28. So I made an appt for DH and I to go talk to him about our options in 2 weeks.
Well I get home today and did an OPK. I have been doing one every day since CD10. And I told myself this would be the last day I would do one. Well I got a
Is this just PCOS playing tricks on me?? Or could I really be about to O on CD34. Is it possible for him to tell from the progesterone test that I was about to O a week later?
Ugh this is all so confusing!!!

Re: Test results
if you have pcos, there's no way to predict when you might ovulate. the doc will tell from (usually 2) blood tests your LH level then your prog level and those levels signify whther you O'ed or not. sorry you're going thorugh this! If you have PCOS, i would highly recommend seeing an RE if you're not already.

Re: Test results
i would call ur doc back and try to go in for a sono if u got a positive opk
the only tricky thing is with pcos is that u can def have a false negative..when u get the positive opk it only means u should ovulate in the next 12-36 hrs..not that u def will

Re: Test results
I have a feeling it was a false positive bc I tested again last night and this morning and no smiley.
I am not diagnosed with PCOS bc all my blood work came back normal, but I have cysts, not ovulating and irregular cycles. The doc said I can have PCOS without having the hormone imbalance.
We just started trying and found this out. I am trying to stay positive though and be happy that I found out now instead of after months of trying.
