We might want to start trying soon, what do I do lol

We already have a DS but he was a surprise so I have no idea how to try for one, if that makes any sense. Like, how many days after AF do we start trying? How many days should we try? When do we stop dtd? When can I start testing?

For those who are trying for their second, how did you know it was time? I KNOW. It's all I think about, it's like this feeling that I can't shake, which is hard for me to believe because when I was pregnant I was certain that I was one and done. DH is on the fence. He wants a huge family so bad but we have only been married 2 years, we don't have a lot of money either. But these are my arguments...

1. It just FEELS right... I know, I know but it does, I can't explain it

2. EVERYONE is young and broke at one point unless your parents are generous and give you a lot when first start out, or if you get married later in life, or you're Paris Hilton, my point is we won't be here forever and why take away having 2 close in age so that they can be bff because at the moment things are tight?

3. We have everything we could use from DS, everything is gender neutral but the clothes and those we have from my sister who has a 6 month old. I EBF, and to save a bit more I guess we could cloth diaper? I work part time and DH is home with DS before I leave so more money for daycare isn't an issue and health insurance would remain the same because it's a family rate whether you have 1 or 12.. same price.

4. The closer they are in age, the faster I can go back to work full time. If he wants to have more than one (which he def does) why wait any longer, we will have to do diapers, sleepless nights, buy new stuff, and prolong me going back to work.


I don't want to talk him into this. I told him my points, and he 100% agrees, he said he will get back to me. I want him to KNOW like I know it's time.

Maybe I'm not making sense, maybe he sees something I don't and just isn't saying anything.

We are trying for #1 so I can't help you too much with the work stuff because I have no experience but what I did was googled (love goggle lol) fertlity calendars and found one that I could put my last period into and how long my cycles were..I was able to get a three month chart..shows your most fertile days...

I do not have LO so i do not have any advice on that.
Everyone has different methods of TTC. Some use them all some use a few, some use none. It is all a matter of prefence i think.
I would figure out your average cycle length and start to be in tune w/ your body. You can use online sites to estimate your fertile days. You can also track CM & EWCM, use OPK, temp, Fertilty monitors. Whatever method you chose if any the main thing is to before, after and during O. Keep in mind actual O(egg release) is around 24hours. So timing is a huge factor & luck, which is why you have around a 20% each month,depending on age and factors. You can research the whole O process and how long sperm live if you desire. As long as your DH doesnt have any Sperm issues known you can as much as you want throught out your cycle and throught O. It only takes once. Everyone test @ different dpo, i personally dont test till AF is late, but you can get a BFP as early as 8DPO or you can get one 15DPO. You will figure out what you feel most comfortable with.

we r trying for number 1..but u and ur dh should be on the same page with wanting to try

so if u told him how u felt i would say give him some space and see what he says ina few days

if he says nothing next time u go to do the deed mention not pulling out or no condom or whatever and see what he says

as to when should u

depends how reg ur cycles r..but u can always start from cd 10 and go every other day unless u want to try opk's
