East End Wineries...
DH and I are going to the wineries next weekend...as of right now, we were planning on hitting: Lieb Family Cellars Vineyard 48 Macari Wolffer Estate
Any others we must visit or is this a good list?
Last year when we went, we ate at the North Fork Inn and Table and Noah's, and they were amazing but we wanna try new places this year....anyone know about the Frisky Oyster? And Jedediah's?
TIA!

Wolffer is actually on the southfork in the Hamptons. I love Sparkling Pointe, it's a champagne only vineyard.

Frisky Oyster was good, but pricey. It's a short walk to the water where there was a fun bar.
Cliff's Elbow Room has the best marinated steaks, but it's definitely not a fancy place.
I love Duck Walk Vineyard.

DH and I love going to Martha Clara and having a picnic. Jedidiah's is REALLY good. Friends of ours own a home in Jamesport so we go there quite often.
We love to stop at the Lobster Roll on our way out for a bite.

I agree that they are great to visit...they almost always have something going on each weekend.
I like Macari as well. Martha Clara is also a fun one to visit for events on the weekends too. Their regular wines are just okay but the sparkling are pretty good.

I also love Baiting Hallow, Duck Walk, Pindar, and Peconic Bay. When I was at Castello de Borghese yesterday, I enjoyed their wines too. I didn't the last time I was there.

Re: East End Wineries...
My favorites tend to be the smaller ones, like Shinn. But I love that some of the larger ones have music and great outdoor areas. Myhusband and I find it is sometimes hard to really plan it out. Sometimes we will pull up to one we want to visit and see there is a bus or its just too crowded, kwim. or we will happen upon one with a special tasting event going on. I'd suggest planning to stop at 3-4 during the day, with lunch in between. Its great that if your plans have to change, they are all close by eachother.

Re: East End Wineries...
Just wanted to update with where we went!
Bedell & Raphael were closed for weddings so we had no choice there...
We did Castello di Borghese and Peconic Bay on Friday.
On Saturday we did: Paumanok Corey Creek Sherwood House Macari
Some of them were INSANELY crowded so we just bypassed.
The Old Mill Inn has the best lobster roll i've ever had in my LIFE.
And the Frisky Oyster was yummy but pricey...
The Greenporter is a dump btw...
