What is an RE?
What is an RE and what exactly do they do that would be different from an OBGYN? I can see from posts you go to one if you are having difficulties TTC, but don't really understand what they are.

Re: What is an RE?
A RE is a Reproductive Endocrinologist. They treat infertility. Basically their job is to get you pregnant.
At a RE you constantly get monitored via blood tests, sonograms, etc. especially if you are taking medication like Clomid (my obgyn prescribed clomid but didn't monitor). They also do inseminations and IVF.
I started seeing my RE after 1 year of TTC.
