Call me stupid!

I am trying REAL hard to keep everyone involved in this babies life. So I told my mom and MIL they could go to all sono appts which has been ok...... at times. Now like a jerk I said they could help with my registry. Okay this began 2 months ago and we still havent gone between my mom cancelling with drs appts and my MIL who doesnt call whatsoever or seem concerned about the baby or the pregnancy at all. BUT if I did what everyone is thinking and go dh and I...ALL HELL WILL LET LOOSE. I am thinking of setting another date...the last date....and whoever cancels...IS NOT COMING! any thoughts?

I would go with your DH. Too bad if they keep canceling.

I would say that to alleviate confusion that you and DH should go first on your own and pick out the things you want and than a second time with your mother and MIL so they dont get upset to add a few more things they think may be nice to have. That way everyone is happy.

We let my mom and MIL be involved as much as we wanted them too, and believe me they would have been at my internals if i let them!

Registering is stressful enough without everyone's input. IMO I would just go with you and DH and then go with each of them seperately at a different time. That's what we did!

We registered, then we took the moms to the store seperately to show them everything. It worked welll

You're sweet! I registered with my DH and then asked my mom and MIL to look at it and let me know if I'm missing anything or if something is a waste. Makes them feel part of it. Just be careful when asking for others opinions b/c my mom gave her opinion and I disagreed I ended up taking it off and buying it myself just to not hear it!!
