How far along were you before....
you bought your pregnancy calendar and journal, subscribing to the parent magazines, thinking about nursery stuff, picking up onsesies when you see them on sale, etc.
I am heading into my 5th week and dont want to get ahead of myself being I will not be having my 1st sonogram for another 2 weeks. I don't want to jump the gun and get overly excited and than possibly be disappointed.

Pregnancy calendar-after I saw heartbeat at 7 weeks
Parent magazines-3rd trimester
Nursery-after 20 weeks
Picking up clothes-End of third Trimester. I didn't buy any baby stuff until after my shower, when I was 36 weeks.
I am VERY superstititous though, and we had a loss before we conceived DD.

IMO...I would wait until after your first drs appt to begin all the preggo hassles. After that you will have approximately 30 more weeks to go CRAZY!
