DRESS ME FOR A FIRST DATE!
Ok, ladies. Here's the deal. I'm usually a pretty good dresser, but this scenario is new to me. I'm new to dating and my only relationship since I've been divorced, I've seen the guy on a daily basis so I wasn't concerned.
Here's the scoop. It's a first date, blind date (I'm sure he's seen my Facebook though). Brunch this Saturday.
Oh, and I'm not afraid to go "outside the box" but I always stay classy. (or try to)
GO....

brunch is perfect for a first blind date! That's how I met DH, we were so into eachother we took a walk before brunch, we walked and talked for 3 hours and forgot about eating
Wear what you are comfortable in, first and foremost, you'll have the best fun then!
Just judging by the look of your avatar, looks like you have short hair, open neckline, open shoulders, without showing too much cleavage is a must for that. Wear trousers or even jeans with a nice top and sexy heels.
Most men don't know it, but shoes really do matter to them. 
eta: also classy is best, IMO, its going to be your first impression the stamp they will have in their head of you for a long time, you want it be simple so that they remember your personality not your wacky outfit

since brunch is a little more casual and saturday is supposed to be nice weather I would do a cute sundress with a cute pair of sandals.

I just wanted to say that I  bot these dresses, I want them NOW! But I have strict instructions from DH not to buy anything UNnecessary.

Thanks, Deb! It's actually a gown, but I do like the idea of strapless or one shouldered something or other.
OK, I just bought this this morning. I have sandals (flats, I feel like heels are a bit much for Saturday afternoon brunch). I kind of wish I had a blaser to go over it.

Basicall, it's this dress, with a big brown belt. I think I might wear capri jeans under it, though.

Aww  that was so nice...I try to see what I would wear if I was that size lol...I call it dream shopping

I think that a cute, above-the-knee dress with flats sends the right message for a blind date (you're interested, but not looking for a one-night stand).

THanks all! Went with the blue sun dress, nothing underneath (well..panties ) Definately wans fun/casual/flirty.
As for the date. It was perfect as far as dates go...until the end when I jumped out of the car without giving him a chance to get out also (he removed his seatbelt, and I got nervous).
But all in all it was nice, fun, delicious, etc.
