Pity, Party of One!
Feeling a little down today and I just need to vent. DH has been out of work since January and he's applied for soooo many jobs without getting anywhere. He had an interview last week but he hasn't heard back yet. It isn't even a great job but it would be SOMETHING to help us out. He really is trying so hard but it's been tough to find work.
We just started really TTC this cycle and now I have all these thoughts in my head about how people are going to react if I end up pregnant and he's still unemployed. I worry that in particular, my parents won't be supportive. Sorry to be Debbie Downer but I just can't help it today

Re: Pity, Party of One!
i understand how you feel! DH lost his job in March and even though he has had some really good interviews since then, no luck
we have been ttc from before DH lost his job and it has been taking longer than what thought, so with not knowing how long it is going to take we decided to keep ttc even if he hasnt found a new job. i think your parents will understand, plus just because he doesnt have a job when you get pregnant doesnt mean he wont have one after the baby is born!

Thank you! It helps to know others are going through the same thing. It's so frustrating.
P.S. DH just texted me that he got a call for another interview so I'm crossing my fingers!

I was just in your situation a few months ago. DH lost his job right when we were gonna start trying. He looked for job and nothing but, a few weeks later he did get his old job back. I say start trying cause he will find something soon

Re: Pity, Party of One!
I will pray that DH gets a job and ASAP
But just as long as you know that your job is stable and you will be able to make it until he finds one - try not to stress about it (I know, easier said than done!)
As you know DH was bringing in money when we were TTC and PG but then shortly after we had DD, he ran into trouble. We are doing fine and making it.
You can never know what the future holds! And even if your parents aren't supportive right away, they will forget all about it once your DC is born!
