Brown Spotting? UPDATE
What exactly constitutes "brown spotting" or "discharge"?
(Prepare for possible TMI ) This morning I went to the bathroom and when I wiped my CM was tinted. I couldn't even tell if it actually was brown. It definitely wasn't red or pink though. All morning long I've had "tinted" CM. If it *is* brown it's VERY, VERY light.
I have no cramping at all other than just a twinge here and there. I'm not sure if I should even call my doctor. Of course I would love to get a chance to possibly see the baby again and make sure everything is ok, but I don't know if my symptoms would even warrant a dr. visit.
Anyone have any advice or experience?
UPDATE: I called the Dr. They said that since I recently had an internal it could be from that. Slight twinges and cramping are normal too. So basically I should just keep an eye on it and if anything changes, I should call back.
I'm not too worried at all. The discharge is barely brown. It's more "snot-colored" (again, TMI, sorry), and I've been battling a yeast infection.
But then again, I would love an opportunity to see or hear my LO again.

Although brown spotting is normally old blood, I would def give your OB a call and let them know what's going on.
More then likely it is nothing, but getting peace of mind from your OB will make all the difference in the world.

Re: Brown Spotting?
You can never be too careful and have TOO much peace of mind. I'm sure it's fine, but call the doctor just to make sure.
My doc told me to call him for ANY little concern, even for a hang nail. And he told me to call him for ANY spotting. When I spotted in the beginning, I went to see him, go to see my baby and my progesterone supplement was increased since he saw I was low on estrogen.
It might be nothing or it might just be something that would draw their attention to something they have to do - like give you an estrogen supplement or something.

Re: Brown Spotting?
I was told after I might see some spotting, although I never did.
Only once when I was about 16 wks along I had some mild spotting one afternoon @ work. By the time I got home it was gone.

Re: Brown Spotting?
i had something very similar and it turned darker as the days went by. it so happened i had my next appointment that week so i mentioned to my dr and good thing i did because they take any colored discharge seriously. i would call and let them know just in case they want you to come in.
