July 4th weekend getaways- we booked!!
Where's CHEAP? 
I've looked at hotels in PA, Cape Cod, Martha's Vinyard, Montauk, Greenport, Newport, Lake George, Block & Shelter Island. And I cant find anything thats well priced and available! 
We want to be near the water, lake or beach. Any ideas?
UPDATE
we booked at this adorrable looking B&B that DH found in Cape May (never been ther before!) called Carroll Villa. Cant wait!!

How cool! When's your anniversary? Have you researched restaurants yet? I want to go to a nice place friday.

Our 1st anniversary is July 2nd! My SIL said the Ebbitt Room and the Virginia Hotel is nice but a little pricey. I think we may go there Sat night. She also said we should take a carriage ride at night. All the houses are lit up and its really pretty. She also recommended the Beach Shack for a drink...its a bar and Congress Hall. I hope we get a nice weekend and its not rainy like this weekend!!
