Confused

I am on CD 23 and using OPKs and still have not gotten a positive. I have irregular cycles and am not sure that I even ovulate. DH and I have been every other day anyway just in case.

Well I've basically given up hope for this month but after I peed I wiped (sorry TMI) and there was a tiny bit of blood. I had already dropped it into the toilet when i was like was that blood?! So i wiped again and sure enough the tiniest spot of blood. I have not had anything since then.

What could that be?!? I know implantation bleeding is rare but the little optimist in me is hoping that maybe thats what it was??

I do spot occasionally before a period but its never red. Any ideas?? Am I crazy??

I am not sure about the spotting issue, but if you have irregular periods you could ovulate late or, like you mentioned, perhaps are not ovulating.

Last cycle I did not get my smiley until CD35 and the Cycle before that was CD24.

If I had a 28 day cycle I would be due June 14th. So far coming off the pill I have had a 29,27,57,29 and 44 day cycle....So who really knows?? I had EWCM on 5/30 CD 13.

try not to drive yourself crazy. I swore up and down that I never spot before my period then one month I started spotting and got my hopes high, AF showed the next day. Its frustrating....

Have you ever gone in for bloodwork? I actually had the same thing happen to me. Spotting a few days before AF ws due. Last month I used OPKs for the first time and never got a positive. I told my dr and she ran a progesterone test on me (~CD21) to determine if I O. Turns out I have low progesterone...so while I do O, it's not strong enough to get or maintain a pregnancy. Also, the low progesterone is also the reason for my spotting.

Anyway, this is a relatively easy fix (I hope!) so I'm glad I found out sooner than later. I'd recommend talking to your dr and asking if she can run b/w for you.

Also want to add that irregular cycles is also a sign of low progesterone.

How long have you been TTC?

I have cysts so I think thats causing the irregular cycles. I had bloodwork done to check for pcos but everything came back normal. I am going my ob next week so I am hoping he will do further blood work.

Last month we stopped being careful. This is the first month actively TTC. I am happy I know something may be going on now rather than trying for months then finding out.

The spotting happened last night and nothing since. So I guess we will see.

@ Dreamsof baby - I am in the same boat with you!! I myself always have Irregualr periods. AF comes every 28-35 days. I had some irregular bleeding by the time I went to see my Gyno it had stopped and I havne't seen anything since. She ran a complete Blood Work on me. I am still waiting for my test results to come back. Probably know by Monday for sure. It's very frustrating and I just want to be normal! DH and I when I got a postive on the OPK'S. My last real cycle was April 30th and lately I have been getting cramps on my left side sometimes right. It's been over 2 weeks and still no AF! But I have a feeling my body isn't ovulating right. You sound just like me!! I think you and I can be each other's support team! FM if you like!!
