Red Clover
As I sit here drinking my red raspberry leaf tea, I looked up on the internet the benefits if it prior to pregancy because I am having an unmotivated work day. In a few of the sites, there is mention of an herb called red clover and how the tea and red clover work together in aiding fertility. Apparently the red clover "has an alkalinizing effect on the whole body, which creates a more sperm-friendly environment within your body". Has anyone ever used this herb? I am always a little nervous about taking herbs

Re: Red Clover
never even heard of it actually
People with conditions that prohibit them from taking estrogen supplements shouldn't take red clover as supplement. Red clover should always be taken in moderate amounts as miscarriage, certain birth defects, infertility, and growth disorders may be linked to high dosages of red clover. Likewise, people taking birth control pills, and anyone with a history of heart disease or stroke should not take red clover without approval from their doctors.

Re: Red Clover
And this is why I am always nervous with hebs. From what I was reading, it seems like red clover will boost estrogen levels and aids in fertility. I will just stick with my red raspberry tea and get some work done
